The following conditions apply to small-scale filming and photography approval permits issued by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). All applicants holding a small-scale filming and photography permit must:
- undertake filming and photography activities in accordance with the NPWS standard conditions for commercial filming and photography.
- undertake
filming and photography activities in accordance with NPWS filming and photography
policy
- hold a public
liability insurance policy for amount not less than AUD$10 million for the term
of the permit. The insurance must list the department as an interested party on the policy as per the exact text, 'The Minister administering the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 on behalf of the State of NSW ABN ABN 27 578 976 844’
- pay park entry fees,
site booking fees or supervision fees, where they are charged
- check the NPWS alerts page for any closures or otherupdates prior to entering a park.
