We, the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust, or BCT, are collecting your personal information through this form for the purpose of adding you to our email platform so you can receive electronic communications from us.
The supply of this information is voluntary. You are not required by law to share your information with us, but if you choose not to, you cannot receive electronic communications sent from our email platform.
The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 may require the BCT to publicly disclose information you have provided in this form – for example, in response to an access application made under that Act.
Information from this form may be shared with the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) and a third-party technology provider, Zapier, for the purpose of adding your details to the BCT's email platform allowing us to administer and distribute electronic communications to you.
Information will be stored and managed in accordance with provisions under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998, the State Records Act 1988 and the BCT's Privacy Statement. It will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared with anyone else, other than those stated here, unless you give your consent or where required or authorised by law.
