  • AND
  • contain a minimum of 5ha of a targeted ecological community (TEC) in moderate to good condition.

Important information for landholders

Before you get started

To submit an expression of interest (EOI), you will need:
  • the property owner's name, as registered on the property's title.
  • the ABN or ACN and business name of the property (if applicable)
  • the approximate size of your proposed conservation area (in hectares)
  • the Lot and DP number of your proposed conservation area – you can find this on your Council Rates Notice, normally under the heading Property Location and Description.
  • read the Landholder Guide for full landholder guide and site eligibility

If you have multiple properties for conservation, a separate EOI is required for each property or for each parcel of land that is owned by separate legal entities.

Expressions of interest will be assessed against eligibility criteria and shortlisted for site visits by our team of ecologists to assess the conservation value of your land for this tender. Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a site assessment will be carried out.

Please note: Throughout the assessment process, you are under no obligation to proceed to the next stage and can remove your land from consideration for conservation at any time.
