Alpine resorts enquiry


This form is used to make an enquiry or request a pre-lodgement meeting regarding development in the Alpine region. The Department's Alpine Resorts Team can give advice on:

  • planning controls and policies applying to development
  • whether your proposal is permissible and likely to require formal approval or can be done without consent (exempt)
  • the controls applying to your property (for example, whether your property is heritage-listed)
  • the process for applying for approval to carry out the work.

The Department aims to provide a written response to enquiries within 5 working days.
